John Sosebee is an expert Rock and Blues guitarist who performs all across the Southeast. He is one of the FEW slide guitar teachers in the North Georgia area. He also teaches Old Time Banjo and bass guitar. Check out his music and his YouTube Channel: https://www.youtube.com/@jukehousejohnny
Justin Bishop has been playing guitar for over 25 years, covering a wide range of styles including Americana, Classical, Jazz, Country, and Rock. He studied guitar and piano at Mercer University and has spent years leading praise and worship in various church settings. Justin currently plays in several local bands, from country with Kurt Wheeler’s Lathemtown Poet’s Society to 90s/00s alternative rock with 1996 and Rev Mo Band. As an instructor, Justin enjoys helping students of all ages.
Austin has been teaching guitar at Donley's Music for over 3 years. Prior to teaching, he studied guitar under many of our instructors here at Donley's Music for over a decade. Austin specializes in Modern Rock, Grunge, Blues, and Country. He can teach anything from Taylor Swift to Nirvana, to Jelly Roll. He prides himself in being able to communicate musical ideas to students of all ages. Austin teaches Guitar, Ukulele, and Bass Guitar.
Daryn Bennett is a versatile music instructor and performer with over three decades of experience. A former music major at Shorter College, He began teaching in Texas in 1996, including positions at Musical Palette and Warner’s Music, and served as a worship leader in Grapevine, TX. After returning to Georgia, he first taught at Donley’s Music in 2004 and rejoined the team in 2025. Daryn currently teaches theory-based guitar, drums, and piano lessons.
Raquel May is a voice and piano instructor at Donley’s Music with over 24 years of teaching experience. She holds an Associate’s degree in Music from Reinhardt College, specializing in voice and piano. She focuses on performance-based vocal training, breathing techniques, and ear-training, also teaching piano using the Faber method. She began teaching at Donley’s over 13 years ago and remains a proud part of Donley’s Music. She is an experienced performer, singer-songwriter, and worship leader.
Marcos Bautista is a multi-instrumentalist and passionate music educator with over 22 years of experience as a performer, recording artist, and songwriter. He has taught for 20 years in both schools and private settings, sharing his love of music with students of all ages. Marcos teaches piano, guitar, bass, requinto, bajoquinto, guitarrón, accordion, conga, güira, trumpet, and saxophone, and finds joy in helping students grow and connect through music.
